Privacy Policy — ReverseML

This policy explains what data the ReverseML application ("the Service", at reverseml.online and its Android app) collects and how it is used. ReverseML offers two products with two different privacy models — read the one that applies to you. ReverseML is an independent AI research and product project (not yet an incorporated company), operated by Aleksei Elizarov under the ReverseML name.

ReverseML Mini (on-device) vs Workspace (cloud)

ReverseML Mini runs locally on your device. In offline mode your documents, memory and prompts stay on the device and are not sent to any server or third party.

ReverseML Workspace (the online application) is a cloud service: content you submit may be processed by selected third-party AI providers (see section 2). If you use the online Workspace, your request leaves your device.

1. What we collect

• Content you submit (chat messages, coding tasks, financial questionnaire inputs, image prompts): processed to generate a response.
• Local data on your device: chat history and preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage on your own device. We do not upload your chat history to a central profile.
• Operational logs: standard server access logs (IP, timestamp, request path) for security and debugging, retained briefly.

2. Third-party AI providers

To generate responses, your submitted content may be sent to third-party LLM and image providers (e.g. xAI Grok, Cerebras, Google Gemini, Groq, Anthropic Claude, HuggingFace, Together, CoinGecko/Frankfurter/TwelveData for market data, SearXNG for search). Each provider processes the request under its own privacy policy. We do not control their data practices.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not build advertising profiles.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

4. Permissions (Android app)

The Android app is a wrapper that opens reverseml.online. Certain features may request device permissions at the moment you use them:

• Camera — only if you upload a hand-drawn picture in Comic Studio.
• Microphone — only if you use voice input.
• Notifications — only if you opt into push reminders.

You can deny or revoke these at any time in Android settings; the rest of the app continues to work.

5. Financial & code data

Financial questionnaire inputs are used only to compute the analysis you requested and are not retained server-side beyond the request. Code you write in the Codissimo sandbox lives in a temporary session workspace and is deleted when the session is removed.

6. Data retention

Chat history persists only in your browser/device until you clear it. Server-side session data and logs are short-lived.

7. Your choices

• Clear local data anytime via your browser settings or in-app "new chat".
• Self-host the entire platform (open-source) so no data leaves your own server.
